The ACPFG places
high importance on the development of innovative and stimulating
functional genomics and plant biotechnology education programs.
The development of such programs is essential to raise both
students and the community's awareness and understanding
of the sophistication and potentials of modern agricultural
technologies. Further, the development of inspiring education
programs is essential to attract and then provide the next
generation of researchers, advisors and consultants.
The
ACPFG develops and updates education resources for community
groups, primary, secondary, undergraduate and post graduate
students, plant breeders and professionals in the industry.
The main goals of the Education resources developed by the
ACPFG are to:

of benefit to students, community groups and decision
makers
|
| • |
Promote wider understanding
of the benefits and risks of plant functional genomics
and plant biotechnology
|
