Expertise
and Research Interests |
|
My honours project focused on analyzing
alternative oxidase RNAi mutants and the effect this silencing
has on salt stress tolerance. Techniques employed in this
project include N.
tabacum Agrobacterium-mediated transformation,
protein purification and western
blotting.
My PhD project
involves analysing wheat and maize
protein kinases and their effect on drought stress tolerance.
Techniques employed in this project to date are PCR, gene
cloning, protein expression and yeast two hybrid
analysis.
