All intellectual property that is developed within the Australian Centre for Plant Functional Genomics during any project will be Project Intellectual Property and will remain the sole and absolute property of the ACPFG. All employees are required to sign an "Associate" Deed.
The associate must acknowledge and agree that:
•
The company alone is entitled to apply for registration of any Associate Project IP in any place. The associate must not register or apply to register and Associate Project IP in any place, other than with the consent, or at the direction, in writing of the Company.
•
As between the company and the Associate, the company is the sole and absolute owner of the Associate Project IP (whether registered or not); and
•
The company may assign, encumber or dispose of any rights in the Associate Project IP.
